What we store on your device, why, and how to change your mind. Nothing beyond the strictly necessary is set until you allow it.

A cookie is a small file a site asks your browser to keep. Similar technologies — local storage, pixels, device identifiers — do the same job, and everything on this page applies to them equally.

We set nothing beyond the strictly necessary until you tell us we can. The banner you saw on your first visit is not decorative: refusing is a single click, it is the same size and weight as accepting, and nothing is ticked in advance. Refusing costs you no part of the site.

What each category does

  • Strictly necessary

    Always on

    Needed for the site to work: remembering this cookie choice, keeping you signed in on the app, and protecting forms and logins from abuse. These cannot be switched off.

    • pickd_consent — stores the choice you make here so we stop asking.
    • Session and security cookies set by app.pickd.gg when you log in.

  • Analytics

    Off until you allow it

    Aggregate measurement of which pages get read and where people drop off, so we know what to fix. Never used to identify you personally.

    • Page-view and referrer counts, only after you allow this category.

  • Marketing & attribution

    Off until you allow it

    Records which creator, affiliate or ad sent you here so the right partner gets credited, and lets us measure whether a campaign worked.

Changing your mind

Your choice is stored in a cookie called pickd_consent for 180 days, together with the date you made it. We ask again when it expires, and sooner if the categories change.

to reopen the panel and switch any category on or off. Clearing cookies in your browser has the same effect as never having answered — the banner comes back.

Browsers can also block cookies outright, and most offer a “clear on close” mode. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will break logging in to the app, but the marketing site will still read fine.

Third parties

This site loads no third-party advertising or analytics tags today. If that changes, the tag will be added behind the matching category — it will not load for anyone who has not allowed that category, and this page will list it before it goes live.

Your rights

Where the GDPR, UK GDPR or CCPA applies to you, consent is your call to give and to take back, and withdrawing it is as easy as giving it — one click, on this page.
